We are seeking a dedicated and qualified special education teacher to join our team. As a special education teacher, you will play a critical role in providing individualized instruction and support to preschool students with special needs.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide direct instruction to students using a variety of teaching methods and techniques.
- Adapt curriculum materials and instructional strategies to meet individual student needs.
- Collaborate with other educators, professionals, and parents to ensure effective delivery of services.
- Monitor student progress and make necessary adjustments to instructional strategies.
- Assess student performance and participate in the development of progress reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student behavior, progress, and achievement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification in special education.
- Experience working with students with special needs.
- Knowledge of different instructional strategies and techniques for supporting diverse learners.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Patience and compassion for students with special needs.
- Ability to adapt and modify instructional materials as necessary.
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
There are two class sessions each day. The institution offers Cross Cat classrooms so they can have up to 12 students for each session with an additional 4 peer mentor students (neurotypical; not part of the caseload).
