MercyOne Des Moines is seeking a BC / BE fellowship trained Neurosurgeon to join our collegial Neurosurgery team. We offer a competitive base salary of $1.

1 million with a 2-year income guarantee, $100,000 bonus, moving allowance of $15,000, CME of $5000, and time off of 31 to 35 days per year , along with malpractice with tail coverage, 403(b), and more!

Opportunity Details :

• Case mix includes complex spine, neurovascular conditions, brain, and busy trauma service.
• Two clinic days and three OR days.
• No elective cases or clinic while on trauma call.
• Dedicated clinic RN for each physician.
• Call 1 : 4 with APP taking first call.
• APPs primarily assist with daily inpatient rounding.
• On-site X-Ray, CT, and MRI / Functional MRI.
• Robust spine center with integrated Pain and PMR.
• EMR : CERNER moving to EPIC Fall 2025.
