Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a PPBE / PBES SME (Program and Budget Enterprise System) / PPBE Functional Expert to join a PEO team in a pivotal role supporting the Program and Budget Enterprise System (PBES).
The PPBE / PBES SME will focus on enhancing ERP-related business processes by analyzing and refining existing procedures.
Engage in designing new systems through business systems analysis, data modeling, process flow modeling, and process reengineering.
Key Responsibilities of the PPBE / PBES SME :
- Deliver application and development support.
- Translate Program, Planning, Budget, and Execution (PPB) processes into specific PBES requirements.
- Act as a bridge between PBES users' functional requirements and technical solutions.
- Provide assistance and training to new users, connecting PBES functions with Air Force PPB processes.
- Offer desk-side, phone, or virtual support to assist PBES users in their daily tasks.
- Support and enhance the PBES helpdesk.
- Simplify PBES technical functionality for users to seamlessly integrate into their daily operations.
Required Skills of the PPBE / PBES SME :
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience (or equivalent postgraduate study)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Profound knowledge of the PPB (Program, Planning, Budget, and Execution)
- At least 3 years of experience supporting the United States Air Force
Desired Skills :
- Experience with government financial systems
- Familiarity with Agile processes
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for documentation management
- Exposure to CI / CD pipelines
- Working knowledge of the BES Atlassian Tool Suite
- Familiarity with Docker and / or Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Experience with Data Relationship Management Suite
- Familiarity with Oracle Technologies (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, Oracle Data Visualization, Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle Database Enterprise Edition, Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle WebLogic Server, and Oracle DB Server)
