About the Opportunity
The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for supporting research projects within the lab but will also develop their own project.
This would be an ideal position for someone looking to get hands on experience before starting graduate school, medical school, or any other scientific career goals.
Experienced candidates will be considered for Lab Manager position and compensated accordingly.
Responsibilities :
- Mouse colony management.
- Lab management, ordering and organization of inventory.
- Work closely with individual or small groups of researchers to support their research.
- Attend and participate in lab meetings, sharing with the group what you’re working on.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or related field is required.
- Understanding of basic biochemistry and molecular biology techniques.
- Willingness to work with live animals (mice).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive, and able to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic, diverse, and growing team.
