Job Summary :
Serra Chevrolet Cadillac Clarksville is currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Deal Clerk / Accounting Clerk.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and accounting support to our sales department, ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial transactions.
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our dealership's financial records and contributing to its overall success.
Compensation & Benefits :
This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry.

Responsibilities :
- Process all necessary paperwork related to vehicle sales, including invoices, loan documents, and other legal documents
- Verify customer information and complete financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate with banks and other financial institutions to obtain financing for customers
- Maintain and update customer and vehicle records in our system
- Assist in the auditing and reconciliation of dealership financial records
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions related to financial transactions
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field is preferred
- Prior experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is highly desirable
- Strong accounting and mathematical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealership management systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented and organized with a high level of accuracy
- Understanding and adherence to compliance and regulatory guidelines
