Deal Clerk/Accounting Clerk

Job Summary :

Serra Chevrolet Cadillac Clarksville is currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Deal Clerk / Accounting Clerk.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and accounting support to our sales department, ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial transactions.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our dealership's financial records and contributing to its overall success.

Compensation & Benefits :

This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry.

Responsibilities :

• Process all necessary paperwork related to vehicle sales, including invoices, loan documents, and other legal documents
• Verify customer information and complete financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate with banks and other financial institutions to obtain financing for customers
• Maintain and update customer and vehicle records in our system
• Assist in the auditing and reconciliation of dealership financial records
• Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions related to financial transactions
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field is preferred
• Prior experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is highly desirable
• Strong accounting and mathematical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealership management systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Detail-oriented and organized with a high level of accuracy
• Understanding and adherence to compliance and regulatory guidelines
