Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Account Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term relationships.
- Strategic Planning : Develop and implement strategic account plans that align with company goals and customer needs, focusing on maximizing revenue and market penetration.
- Market Analysis : Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in the natural ingredients market, particularly related to fermentates.
- Sales Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and potential clients, leveraging consultative selling techniques.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and drive product innovation.
- Product Expertise : Provide technical knowledge and insights about fermentates to clients, assisting them in product formulation and application.
- Reporting : Monitor and report on account performance, sales forecasts, and customer feedback to inform business strategies and adjustments.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in account management or sales within the natural ingredients or food industry, with a focus on fermentates being a plus.
- Proven track record of managing key accounts and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and product application in the natural ingredients space.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
