Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Engineering or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Typically possesses three to five years of experience in managing large scale projects and use of associated management tools and techniques.
Demonstrated ability to develop requirements, adhere to schedules, develop and execute project plans, meet deadlines, operate under tight time constraints.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills including the ability to communicate complex ideas and information to different audiences and levels.
Day To Day responsibility :
Manages the development, implementation, and evaluation of large-scale corporate capital and O&M training projects that have major business impacts.
Provides strategic direction and functional oversight on multiple projects including managing internal resources, budget, and vendors.
- Serves as a key consultant to senior management by playing an active role in the development of systems (technology) training strategic plans and objectives.
- Represents ELD with contractors, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and other OU stakeholder groups. Works with internal and external stakeholder groups to negotiate project requirements including scope, resource allocations, and execution strategy.
- Collaborates with OU management to update training programs as required to meet systems and business requirements and / or to address learning gaps.
- Provides strategic direction to client management to ensure that all learning solutions satisfy all business requirements, address key knowledge / skill gaps, and are delivered according to the standards of the systematic approach to training.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills :
- 10 years of experience managing projects / programs.
- 5 years of experience managing technical and systems training initiatives through the budgeting, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of the organization including executives and build relationships with appropriate constituents inside and outside the organization.
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
