The work will be challenging, but always rewarding. It’s Work That Matters. Overview Purpose Statement / Position Summary : The Coordinator, Clinical Trial Operations (Coordinator, CTO) must have a broad spectrum of knowledge and experience in conducting multi-center clinical and research studies.

The individual should be able to work independently to coordinate and manage consortium activities at the central operations center, with guidance from the appointed consortium leaders (e.

g., Consortium Medical Director, Associate Medical Director, Administrative Director, etc.). The Coordinator, CTO will be the main contact for consortium participating sites and assist with all assigned protocol related matters such as regulatory compliance requirements (e.

g. FDA, IRB, etc.), eCRF database configuration, system access management, operational requirements (e.g. eCRF completion guidelines, SOPs, etc.

and other activities required for member sites to participate in consortium clinical and research studies. The individual must be detail oriented, have the ability to prioritize, be able to multitask, possess critical thinking skills, and can analyze / troubleshoot issues as they arise.

The individual must have excellent organization skills to efficiently review and maintain operational and study related records.

Additionally, the individual must have the interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with external participating sites, ancillary staff & research teams.

They must have great command of English language (professionally spoken & written) and the ability to deliver accurate information via phone and e-mail.

Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience : Minimum of 4 years of experience in Phase I-III clinical trials with focus on multi-center trials in oncology.

Clinical trial experience includes but is not limited to study protocol development, regulatory maintenance, and reporting (e.

g., SAEs, IRB submissions, etc.), eCRF development, data management, and coordination of investigational product. IDE / IND submission experience preferred.

Education / Licensure / Certification : Bachelor’s Degree required (RN Degree is preferred), Masters preferred. SoCRA or ACRP Certification is required within 6 months of hire.

Strong computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Pay Scale Information $55,120.00-$99,341.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization.

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
