Job description : U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen’s reelection campaign is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Constituency Media Director to join their fast-paced communications team.
The Constituency Media Director will be responsible for developing and executing a proactive outreach strategy for Spanish-speaking Latino, Asian American and Pacific Islander, Black, Native American, and LGBTQ+ state and national media.
The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and communications skills, a strong work ethic, and be fluent in both English and Spanish.
Nevada ties are preferred. Job Responsibilities : Work with the Communications Director to develop and execute proactive constituency media outreach strategies and paid media plan in coordination with the campaign’s overall national communications goals.
Build constituency media press lists and develop ongoing communications relationships with constituency media outlets and reporters, helping to shape overall coverage.
Serve as the campaign’s on the record spokesperson in constituency media outlets, including regular TV and radio interviews.
Develop relationships with local stakeholders and work to book surrogates for TV, radio, and print interviews. Assist in planning constituency-focused press events in coordination with the political team.
Support the campaign with Spanish-language materials as needed, including translating or reviewing Spanish-language press releases, scripts and other materials.
