Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Microbiology Manager to provide expertise and champion testing results. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels the patient experience is as meaningful as we do.

You Will :

• Manage day-to-day laboratory technical and non-technical microbiology resources and operations of the market laboratory to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Assist Regional and Division Directors in achieving department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, personnel management, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and interdepartmental activities.
• Monitor resource utilization, including payroll, supplies, expenses, client volume, and revenue variation reports; participate in MOR.
• Provide leadership in coaching, guidance, training, and talent development of staff.
• Screen, interview, and select qualified individuals for open positions within the department.

You Should Have :

• A 4-Year / Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology.
• NAACLS Accredited Certification (ASCP, AMT, etc.) is required.
• 3-5 years’ supervisory level experience in a central or high volume bacteriology laboratory setting.
