This is a union position.
HealthRight-360, is a 200 bed residential facility for adult men who are in custody and on parole. We provide comprehensive substance use disorder and mental health services.
Treatment episode ranges in time from 6 months to 12 months. HealthRight-360 is a fast-based environment where communication is paramount in order to provide cutting edge services to men in a residential treatment setting as well as their families.
Our goal is to reintegrate persons served back into the community with the necessary skills to remain substance and crime free.
Facilitates successful job search with all clients in the Re-entry phase of treatment. Teaches workshops on job seeking skills, interviewing skills, re-entry readiness skills and other employment related topics.
Collaborates with clients to write resumes, cover letters, and thank you notes. Provides support and counseling throughout the clients’ job search process.
Assists clients with referrals to community resources as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Client Development Responsibilities : Facilitates employment related workshops, groups, and classes. Teaches interviewing skills, job search skills, re-entry readiness skills and works with clients on soft skills as necessary.
Assist clients in formulating various employment, vocational and educational documents Conducts assessments and information session with clients as they begin their job search to insure a supportive and appropriate job search plan.
Supports clients based on their employment, vocational and education goals. Provides counseling and support around all stages of the job seeking process and maintenance of employment.
Treatment Liaison Responsibilities : Collaborates with treatment staff and CDCR personnel to ensure appropriateness of client services.
Connects clients to various community resources available in our community that support specific client needs. Connects clients to transitional work or training programs when appropriate and available.
Ensures that employment opportunities are in line with program guidelines and support client’s recovery process and successful reintegration Attends community events that are relevant to employment / vocational opportunities.
Transports clients to various supportive events in our community. Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- First Aid Certified.
- CPR Certified.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must not be on active parole or probation.
- Ability to pass and maintain a CDCR security clearance, includes FBI and DOJ.
