Job description
We are a 35-employee company and a very tight-knit team based out of the Philadelphia area in the process of expanding within our current markets in Northern Virginia, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Cleveland as well as expanding into new markets (New Jersey and others).
We have an opening and need for a full-time Director of Business Development for the all of these territories.
Our company holds dental and podiatry appointments in senior living communities and communicates with the family members of the patients seen.
We need a go getter who can speak with new senior living community partners, promote our services, and close deals with decision-makers in order to get their approval for our clinicians to start treating patients in their communities.
This is a great job for an experienced medical sales or outsides salesperson.
This position will develop and strengthen your skills in sales and relationship management while helping you build your own book of business in the senior living industry.
Responsibilities (in order of priority in this position, highest at the top) :
- Arrange calls with senior living community decision-makers, with the goal of getting signed service agreements to allow our clinicians to treat their residents.
- Perform "drop-ins" and cold calls to senior living communities to try and meet with decision-makers.
- Use and manage CRM and funnel platforms to track all sales activity.
- Use Excel, Word, Outlook, Constant Contact, and other software platforms to mail merge and distribute letters and email campaigns to communities.
- Create ongoing engaging material for senior communities (monthly newsletter, virtual events, etc)
Requirements / Characteristics :
- Must have a proven track record in outside or territory-based sales
- Must be personable and professional with excellent customer service skills and phone presence (we will need to trust you meeting with our senior community partners)
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Must be comfortable learning new software platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel / Outlook strongly preferred

This position is expected to be 40 hours / week. As of this posting, this position is only available as a W-2 employment opportunity and is not eligible for 1099.

Salary : 35,000-45,000 per year Plus Commision
