THE JOB
The Event Staff and Security at the Xfinity Center is primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service, crowd control, searches at our entrance gates, and helping to maintain a high level of safety at our venue.
All employees must adhere to established COVID-19 safety regulations and procedures.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
- Provide a customer friendly environment.
- Greet and assist guests to seating area and offer other services as needed.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises.
- Search and screen individuals to prevent passage of prohibited items into the venue.
- Circulate among guests and / or employees to preserve safety, order and to protect the venue property.
- Engage with guests to ensure their needs are met and to provide a positive and safe experience for all.
- Alert guests of venue rules, as well as report any infractions or violations.
- Write reports of activities and irregularities such as guest incidents or ejections, equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors gates.
- Provide general assistance to guests and other staff members to promote an environment in line with the core values of Live Nation.
- Assist in post-show cleanup of assigned area within the venue.
- Other duties as assigned by Security Manager or supervisor
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Prior customer service experience a plus
- Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy
- A strong-sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Available to work nights and weekends with the opportunity for additional hours on non-event days
