Linux Systems Administrator
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Linux Systems Administrator with our client in the financial industry located in Richmond, VA, Atlanta, GA, Jacksonville, FL, and Chandler, AZ.
This is a 12+ month contract position.
Requirements :
- 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Red Hat Linux (7 / 8 / 9)
- Experience supporting Client, Dell x86 hardware platform
- Strong experience in Linux / UNIX System Administration, hardware troubleshooting, configuration and performance monitoring and tuning
- Solid troubleshooting skills to triage with different technology partners
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of ITIL incident / change / problem management processes
- Understand SAN / NAS technology and experience to support server-side related issues
Desired Skills :
- Experience supporting RedHat LEAPP in-place upgrades
- Experience supporting a global environment consisting of 50,000 or more Linux virtual servers
- Understand and follow the ITIL incident / change / problem management process
- Experience supporting LVM and Veritas Volume management
- Experience supporting DMZ environment Linux servers
- Experience in automation tools like BladeLogic , shell scripting or ansible tower, Tanium
- RedHat Cluster Services Certification
Pay Range : $50.55-$58.55
