WHO YOU ARE
You will lead our first-to-market store concept for Le Creuset. As the local liaison with our head office, you'll spearhead leading the development process from concept to launch.
Your role will involve hiring top talent and developing team members for future growth. You'll lead the way in achieving or exceeding budgeted sales, payroll, and controllable expense goals while effectively managing store operations, inventory, and visual merchandising standards.
Your commitment to exemplary customer service will ensure both internal and external customers enjoy a positive store and brand experience.
Additionally, you'll foster relationships between our team members and customers, creating lasting connections.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
Business Operations
- Ensure store meets or exceeds sales and P&L targets while communicating ongoing opportunities to grow business
- Prioritize, plan, and adjust staff schedules and daily agendas to meet business goals; hold the team accountable to achieving goals
- Train and motivate all associates through ongoing programs in sales, customer service, and product knowledge
- Lead by example, including participating in all facets of daily business routine, including selling, merchandising, inventory management and
- Assess performance and provide ongoing feedback
- Complete and deliver performance appraisals and development plans
- Develop Business plans, set projections, and monitor, analyze, and report on results
Brand Experience
- Ensure the team provides an exceptional guest experience in the store to achieve best-in-class service standards.
- Create and maintain an environment where all associates are treated fairly, with dignity, and respect, in accordance with our Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Work with Multi-Store Leaders and Corporate Partners to develop best practices in all areas of in-store experience, providing monthly feedback on successes and opportunities.
- Create partnerships and event opportunities through outreach with chefs, restaurants, and like-minded businesses in the community and surrounding areas.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven ability to manage staff to exceed sales goals while meeting payroll goals.
- Proven ability to identify top talent, create teams, and train / develop / retain great people.
- Proven ability to think through complex issues and allocate time to execute multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples.
- Effective communication throughout the organization to provide critical feedback.
- 5 + years of management experience in specialty retail and / or multi-unit retail business environments. Hospitality or Restaurant Experience a plus.
- New store opening experience.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
- Must have open availability to meet the needs of the evolving business.
