Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a Special Education Teacher for a position in the Eau Claire, MI area. This role will involve providing specialized educational support to students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct instruction and support across various subjects and skill levels
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Maintain regular communication with parents / guardians to address student progress and concerns
Requirements :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification / license in Michigan
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
