The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to be part of a team producing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity.
Summary of Key Duties for this position :
- Previous Experience with Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Technology
- Basic Knowledge of Manufacturing Principles and Production Line setup / launch / develop
- Experience creating Manufacturing Work Instructions / Standard Operating Procedures
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Bill of Materials, creation, edit, and maintenance.
Desired skills
- Experience presenting to Senior LM and government leadership
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Space or industry equivalent processes
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Space or industry equivalent tools (ERP / SAP, EPDM, VECAMS, PMP Database, etc)
- Basic tooling, fixture, and equipment design experience.
