What do you get to do in this position? The individual in this role will be directly responsible for the supervision of the maintenance team and support continuous improvement of the Lincoln plant’s production equipment.
This position will supervise hourly employees. The individual will be responsible for maintenance function, accountable & responsible for predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance for all equipment throughout the plant.
Be able to work efficiently in a hierarchical management workforce involving the elaboration, application & overall management of standardized processes and plans to ensure safety, quality, service / availability, cost.
Strong contributor to continuous improvement. People management & budgetary accountability. This role will support 4 continuous 12 hour shifts (6am-2 : 30pm).
Enforce safety & health rules & 5S Manage the maintenance department according to Schneider Performance System / Short Interval Meeting rules, to guarantee the performance of industrial equipment.
Be responsible for people management including goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, well being Manage the TPM on the whole process to increase the reliability and availability of workstations, production lines Decide, prioritise & implement with manufacturing the maintenance actions plan in order to maintain machines original state Manage the technical aspects for capability of all internal & external tools under responsibility of the plant Is the responsible of the correct preservation of all tools and equipment outside the facilities (subcontractors and suppliers) Manage & optimise maintenance costs including spare parts inventory (internal / external means) Organize the intervention of the team in the implementation and ramp up of new workstations or production line Ensure consistency and updating of the maintenance information system (CMMS : Computerized Maintenance Management System) for internal / external means Update and ensure the business continuity plan in term of equipment and tools What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
You possess a strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge related to industrial processes (Maintenance, Fabrication, Assembly).
This position requires a proven leader with the abilities to drive improvement within maintenance, fabrication, and / or assembly departments and troubleshoot issues related to Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Mechanical, and Electrical Systems.
3+ years in a team-based process troubleshooting role, engineering role, or maintenance role preferred Experience within Metal Fabrication, Injection Molding, Plating, Automated Assembly is preferred Previous experience in supervision is a plus Excellent communication skills Self-motivated and driven individual desiring to make an immediate impact Proven leadership skills with a drive to succeed Working Knowledge of MS Office Ability to identify waste and drive it out of complex processes Ability to prepare written reports, instructions, procedures and guidelines Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and develop action plans to strategically eliminate barriers We know skills and competencies show up in many ways and can be based on your life experience.
