Ashland has an exciting opportunity as Regional Marketing Manager of our Biofunctionals Business Line within Ashland’s Personal Care business in North America.
This is a very visible, significant role within Ashland and the personal care business. This position will report to the General Manager for Biofunctionals and be based in our Bridgewater, NJ office
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following :
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following :
- Bachelor’s degree in business or science
- 5+ years of experience and demonstrated success in the personal care industry
- Experienced in marketing (and / or commercial) role preferably in the designated region
- Strong understanding of marketing strategy development and execution, market and trend research, customer segmentation, communication channel mix
- Excellent communication skills, talent for building strong networks within Ashland but also with potential customers and external partners
- Self-driven and tenacious with strong project management skills
- Willingness to travel in the region - 20%
The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit :
- An advanced degree, preferably an MBA, is preferred
- Experience working in the personal care market
- Project management skills
