Position Summary :

The Manager of Technical Project Management plays a crucial role in overseeing the seamless execution of Innovation & Renovation (I&R), Total Delivery Cost, and Business Maintenance projects for NHSc US.

Their primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient and effective end-to-end implementation of these projects. Additionally, the role will manage cross-functional teams to achieve the project-defined key success criteria and ensure timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Apply project management tools and skills to ensure the on-time, on-scope and on quality delivery of the project with flawless execution from concept to close
  • Lead the alignment of the strategy and approach for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing the project with key stakeholders
  • Preventive management of roadblocks and generation of risk and mitigation plans
  • Build and manage the project schedule, define the critical path, track activities to ensure functional team members are meeting agreed-upon deadlines, generate and communicate status reports, and escalate critical issues
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings including kick-off meetings, project team meetings, risk assessments, financial reviews, lessons learned, post-launch reviews, and additional meetings as required
  • Provide transparency and communication on project status and risks to cross-functional team members, Project Management Lead, and Senior Management as needed
  • Responsible for the consistent application, execution, and continuous improvement of Nestle's I&R processes and tools
  • Maintain and ensure data accuracy, deliverable completion, and documentation as specified by relevant policies and procedures across assigned projects
  • Meet established key performance indicators (KPIs) and other program metrics
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate level
  • Understand the work of each cross-functional project team member
  • Understand and be able to communicate the tasks on the critical path and why they are on the critical path
  • Understand the status of each project team member's work
  • Communicate rolled-up task status, resource constraints, risks, and impact on active projects at the appropriate level of detail for the audience
  • Collaborate with functional partners to make resource assignments, to resolve issues, mitigate risk, etc.

Experience and Education Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5+ years of cross functional experience in the effective management of projects including 1 or more of the following types of projects : New Product Development and / or Product Life Cycle
  • Project Management Professional certification a plus
  • Travel : estimated 10%

Skills :

  • Insight, Impact & Convincing Others, Results Focus, Courage, Proactive Cooperation
  • Functional Competencies : Project Planning & Execution, Knowledge of Project Management Systems, and tools (Preferably NPDI / I2L)
  • Very strong communication skills
  • Experience working with cross functional groups

Theapproximate payrange for this position is$120,000.00to$165,000.00.Please note that thepay rangeprovided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.

Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
