JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Project Manager (APM-Administration) will support the Program Manager by overseeing administrative aspects of security operations at the assigned Client facility.
This position will make decisions and act on behalf of the Project Manager (PM) and Assistant Project Manager (APM) -Operations in their absence;
and manage all aspects on the contract. The APM-Administration will interface with all designated government representatives at all locations where contract guards are assigned, as well as, with members of the Division of Police, physical security personnel and Client stakeholders.
Ideal candidates have extensive security and management experience, with a preference for a degree in law enforcement or security management.

Core Duties Include :
1. Acts with the same authority as the APM-Operations and assume decision-making responsibilities in the absence of the PM and APM.
2. Oversees all security aspects of the contract, ensuring compliance with Client award requirements.
3. Government Liaison : Interface with government representatives, police, physical security personnel, and Client stakeholders to enhance security mission fulfillment.
4. Provides direction and supervision to security supervisors.
5. Develops and implement procedures for emergency staffing.
6. Manages administrative components of the award, including human resource policies, hiring, payroll assistance, and maintaining employee records.
7. Conducts recruitment, interviews, and onboarding of new security staff.
8. Ensures accurate invoicing and staffing in collaboration with FAC-CORs.
9. Performs additional functions, duties and specific tasks of a similar nature and scope as necessary in order to achieve assigned business objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY

Basic Qualifications
- US citizenship preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to acquire and maintain any other specific government / agency clearances and or access requirements.
Education / Experience
- Associate degree in law enforcement or security management and at least eight (8) years of specialized security experience and six (6) years of management experience at a government facility or similar facility with a security force equivalent to, or at a minimum, half of the security guards assigned to this award.
- May substitute a degree / at least four years of documented leadership experience, either in law enforcement, military, or armed security or a combination of both leadership and college courses pursuing a Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement or Homeland Security degree.
Background Prerequisites
Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, physical examination as per assignment and behavioral selection survey, in addition to any mandatory licensing requirements

- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
