Haigh-Farr is a premier antenna design, manufacturing and test house developing products used across all platforms in the aerospace industry including missions to Mars, the International Space Station and products fielded to the U.

Haigh-Farr is seeking a Quality Inspector with a demonstrated background in roles where a high attention to detail was required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inspection and test on products at various stages of production to ensure that customer specifications are being met and company quality standards are followed.

Responsibilities :

  • Inspect inbound parts and materials from vendors and outbound products for shipping.
  • Create comprehensive documentation for quality issues and note the corrective actions that were taken.
  • Educate others within the department on quality control issues and work with department managers to improve overall company safety and product quality.
  • Create process checklists and coordinate quality inspections with department managers.
  • Maintain and update quality inspection records.
  • Identify, set aside and document all suspect or defective items.

Knowledge & Skills :

  • Good working knowledge of the AS-9100 Quality Standard.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure that products meet required specifications.
  • Able to read engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of geometric dimension and tolerancing a plus.
  • Experience with a CMM a plus.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient in Excel, and Word.
  • Independent, self-starter with the ability to multi-task.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and positive attitude.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma / GED required.
  • Proven work experience of 3+ years.
  • U.S. Person required.
  • Ability to possess a security clearance.
