Job Summary
The Clinical Administrative Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring compliance with state contract requirements for processing member referrals and authorizing covered services and benefits.
This role collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to maintain timely and accurate processing of member referrals, authorization of services, and communication with members and providers.
Pay : $17.25 22.25 an hour based on experience (overtime will be paid at 1.5 times the normal hourly pay rate).
Hours : Full Time - Monday-Friday 8am-4 : 30pm HST

Job Duties :
- Conduct telephonic outreach to members regarding services and referrals
- Handle both incoming and outgoing calls to healthcare providers
- Manage member mailings and other correspondence
- Update member demographic information and notify the state of changes
- Authorize home and community-based services for members
- Perform data entry for various forms, assessments, and member documentation
- Manage incoming mail, including scanning, uploading, and notifying relevant staff
- Process member referrals and assign them to appropriate health coordination services
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working in the health care industry
- 2+ years of experience analyzing and solving customer problems
- 2+ years of experience working with medical terminology
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a hospital, physician's office or medical clinic setting
- A reliable high-speed internet connection (the faster the better)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Private, quiet, and distraction-free workspace in a room with a closed-door

- Large corporation experience
- Health plan / managed care / healthcare industry experience
- Experience in a hospital, physician's office or medical clinic setting
- Clerical or administrative support background or experience working in a call center environment
