Piper Life Sciences is actively seeking a Process Engineer II join a global pharmaceutical organization producing innovative, injectable diabetes and obesity treatments.
The Process Engineer II will act as the process group representative within the corporate process group. This person will join a reputable company that is looking to double both in size and production in the coming years.
This is a Monday - Friday , traditional hours role location in the greater Raleigh, NC area.
Responsibilities of the Process Engineer II :
- Own local formulation documents, perform change requests, protocols, and product transfers.
- Develop plans to improve the performance of a process or set of systems
- Utilize cLEAN tools within change management and problem solving
- Improve the performance of an existing process or set of systems using root cause analysis and green belt tools
- Support technical development of other engineers within the formulation team
Qualifications of the Process Engineer II :
- B.S. in Chemical engineering or related discipline
- 5+ years of related experience
- Experience in a formulation environment
- Knowledge in Instrument & Electrical, Mechanical, Control / SCADA / PLCs, Process Improvement Methodologies, Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent
Compensation of the Process Engineer II :
- $50-$60 / hr
