Job Overview :

Identify prominent land developers and homebuilders in North America to form partnerships and offer development consulting services.

Showcase FirstService Development Advisors’ unique capabilities and build long-term relationships. Lead a team of five to seven development experts.

Serve as part of the FirstService Residential West Region Executive Leadership team.

Location is flexible within the following states : CA, NV, AZ, TX, FL, NJ or SC.

Compensation : $200-$225K Base + 35-50% Bonus (Performance Based)

FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities.

For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Your Responsibilities :

  • Provide executive leadership and strategic direction across North America
  • Foster relationships with market and regional presidents, clients, business leaders, and subject matter experts from FirstService Residential
  • Mentor team members on business operations, staff management, and service strategies.
  • Identify and cultivate sales targets, building client relationships.
  • Enhance brand visibility and showcase expertise through industry events, speaking engagements, and networking.
  • Demonstrate industry expertise and leverage established relationships in homebuilding, land development, and community management.
  • Collaborate with FirstService Development Advisor's leadership on business planning, budgeting, and marketing strategies.
  • Manage the transition of new developments from FirstService Development Advisors to FirstService Residential in partnership with leadership teams.
  • Oversee service contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Drive financial performance by implementing effective team structures and account management practices.

  • Demonstrates excellent organizational, time management, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates awareness of factors affecting employee retention and morale and leads change management effectively.
  • Proven leadership in business development, client management, and managing large-scale projects.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, take initiative, and identify, manage, and mitigate risks.
  • Effective collaboration and relationship-building skills with colleagues and clients

Education & Experience :

  • Preferably holds a four-year college degree.
  • Prior experience in homeowner association management / set-up is preferred.
  • Previous experience in homebuilding and / or land development is desirable.
  • Familiarity with master planned and high-rise communities is preferred

Physical Requirements & Working Environment :

  • Walk and move throughout a typical office environment.
  • Sit and stand for moderate periods of time.
  • Sit at a desk using a computer in an office setting

Work Hours : Monday Friday, 8am 5pm with some evenings and weekends as needed

Supervisory Responsibility :

Lead and supervise team of 5-7. Team size may fluctuate

Tools & Equipment Used :

General office equipment

Travel :

Consistent travel required with the use of a personal vehicle as well as considerable air travel across the United States and parts of Canada, which can be significant at certain times of the year.
