WE ARE LOOKING FOR a Human Resources Manager. This role will be responsible for full cycle recruiting, as well as other HR related tasks.

Job Summary :
The Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources manager focusing mainly on Recruiting to join our team.
This role is dynamic and fast paced. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of organizational skills and the ability to organize in a fast paced environment.
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to managing the offer and onboarding / orientation process.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in talent acquisition, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment without constant supervision.
Responsibilities include but not limited to :
- Collaborate closely with internal HR operations team to gain an in-depth understanding of field requirements and execute recruitment activities that enable Hyatt to attract and retain top talent.
- Maintain productive relationships with existing state wide sourcing channels, including but not limited to, LinkedIn, Facebook, Social Media, Poached, Indeed, and coordinate with them to maximize recruitment effectiveness and optimize the candidate experience.
- Actively seek and partner with quality local recruitment platforms including Refugee program specialists, local schools / colleges, RiseHy to enhance the company's online recruitment visibility and applicant pool.
- Implement Employee Value Proposition (EVP) initiatives to promote Hyatt's culture and values, and strengthen Hyatt's reputation as an industry leader and employer of choice.
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of robust recruitment and selection processes, systems, tools, and reporting; utilize various hiring reports / dashboards, and other tools and data to illustrate the recruiting pipeline and analyze outcomes.
- Be responsible for recruitment-related projects, which include but are not limited to building talent maps, referral programs, alumni events, careers day, campus recruitment, job fairs, outreach partners meeting and etc.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct phone screens and interviews to assess candidate qualification and fit for the organization.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Manage the offer process, including recommendations for salaries.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the application tracking system (Taleo and in Excel).
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers on the status of open positions.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal recruitment agencies and vendors.
- Stay current on recruiting trends and best practices to continuously improve the recruitment process.
- Arrange and handle background screening.
- Send out communication and necessary paperwork to new hires for onboarding.
- Oversee I-9 process and promptly enter information in the E-Verify system.
- Input new hire information in the HR EIS system to hire candidates including activating ADP and ensuring direct deposit information is accurate.
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation process.
- Assist with other HR-related projects and initiative as needed.
- Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

- Three years of previous Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Related bachelor’s degree may substitute for preferred experience.
