A large manufacturing company is looking to hire a new Project Coordinator for their Internal Project Management Office. This person will be responsible for supporting the project management team (Project Manager & Site Manager) with various tasks dealing with project planning, execution, and closing.
This Project Coordinator will also establish an international network with cross-functional department team members for the various responsibilities related to the project scope and performance.
Skills Needed :
Associate’s Degree; Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred; at least one year experience in project coordination / management in capital equipment manufacturing;
or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 1 year of experience as a project manager or project coordinator
- Manufacturing experience, ideally from an OEM
- Experience with SAP
- Experience owning projects and helping key stakeholders stay on task
- Open to limited travel nationally to client sites
Responsibilities of Role :
- Project and site prep setup for site managers
- Clarification of spare part packages with new machine orders
- Order entry and working into ECOS / SAP
- Processing of PCN (Project change notice) into the system
- Collaboration with AR / FICO on defining process improvements / changes for template changes.
- OEM support & planning with procurement / PO requisitions
- Support with project controlling tasks.
- Support with project management / site manager SOP creation
- Support with KPI development through automated systems (Power BI)
- Quality Messages Support / Resolution
- Backlog Process (ZMFT SAP Transaction) - Support Missing Parts
- Sample and Test material requests from PM to customer
- Media consumption list setup for new machine orders
- FAT planning with project manager
- Commercial KO & Shipping Interface
- System analytics focused around troubleshooting internal process inefficiencies with use of automation tools (Power BI, SAP, Sharepoint, etc.)
- Working closely with the project management team on supervising / system maintenance projects
- Preparation & understanding of spreadsheets for project cost breakdowns and dashboard controlling (project milestone roadmap).
- Controller / tracking of project deviations with the project management team for proper descriptions and guidelines to be followed for maintaining the Multi-Project Management Cockpit.
Salary of $75-90K depending on experience level and education
