ABOUT THE COMPANY

- Stable company that has been in business in Orlando for 20+ years.
- Company is looking for a highly energetic multitasker with minimal accounting experience for training and development directly from the management team.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT
- The Property Accountant will compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform journal entries for adjustments as needed.
- The Property Accountant will also handle month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
- Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.
- Prepare budget reports, balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position.
- Prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to monthly close process.
- Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED :
- BS in Accounting
- The Property Accountant must be able to pass a basic accounting assessment.
- Must be detail oriented and a team player.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 1 year prior accounting experience or an accounting internship is required.
