Title : Quality Engineer
Location : Lafayette, IN
Duration : 24 Months Contract with possible extension
Position’s Contributions to Work Group :
Facilitate and develop new elements of APQP including process FMEAs, control plans and process flow diagrams
Typical task breakdown :
- Weekly staff and prioritization meetings
- Facilitate the development of APQP documentation including, but not limited to process FMEAs, control plans and process flow diagrams
- Support and tracking of recommended action from the process FMEAs
- Independent scheduling and leading APQP readiness meetings with manufacturing engineering teams
- Review and / or develop process capability studies, measurement systems analysis
- Create final production part approval documentation (PPAP)
- Formal documentation and presentation at stakeholder updates
Interaction with team :
Work with many departments to ensure each new capital program is properly supported for every aspect of quality readiness.
Including metallurgical testing, metrology equipment, CMM programming, validation results.
Education & Experience Required :
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required
- 8-10 years experience required

Compensation
This is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position $40- $45 / hr (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
