Summary :
Atomica is seeking a Chemist - Wet Etch Process Engineer to join our talented team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and optimization of wet etch processes for MEMS devices that are at the forefront of technological advancements.
You will work closely with experienced engineers and technical professionals, gaining valuable hands-on experience and fostering your skills in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with team of engineers to develop chemical formulations, optimize, and troubleshoot wet etch processes for MEMS devices substrates.
- Perform experiments and tests to evaluate chemical formulations, process parameters, and equipment performance.
- Analyze data using JMP and provide recommendations for process improvements and yield enhancement.
- Monitor and analyze chemical solutions, process parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and chemical concentrations, to ensure consistent process performance.
- Implement process chemistry control measures and contribute to the development of chemical process monitoring systems.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to establish and maintain process control documentation.
- Support metrology and equipment maintenance activities, including routine calibration, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with engineers to resolve technical issues and implement preventive maintenance measures.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and researchers, to support project objectives.
- Communicate experimental findings, results, and recommendations through clear and concise reports and presentations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry in Microelectronics Engineering fields.
- 2+ years' experience working in a lab or fab handling chemicals.
- Knowledge of wet etch processes, semiconductor fabrication, or MEMS technologies is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of chemical mixing, solution formulation, chemical solution control and wafer processing.
- Familiarity with wafer process characterization techniques, such as SEM, profilometry, is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Compensation :
Engineer I-Engineer II
$75,000-120,000
