Senior Software Developer ( C,C++ )
Location : Onsite in American Fork, Utah
Note : Prefer candidates who are local to Utah and are willing to be Day1 Onsite in American Fork, Utah
About the Role :
We are seeking a Software Developer to join our clients team. You will work with the other developers and teammates to ensure the technical goals of the project are met on behalf of the client.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing functional requirements, execution, and performance for a core set of features and / or components.
You will be willing to learn new languages and databases and grow your technical skills.
Day to Day Responsibilities :
- Follows the company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs.
- Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents.
- Reviews functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provides feedback.
- Collaborates with other development staff to achieve quality and consistency.
- Participates in architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation.
Must Have :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Analysis, Information Systems,
- or closely-related field and 6+ years of professional experience
- Proficiency in one or more of the following software languages :
- C / C++
- Python
- Golang
- Web technologies (html / css / javascript)
- Java
- Experience with the following recommended : git, Linux, SQL, databases, virtual machines, kubernetes, test frameworks, Google docs / sheets / slides, data analysis, and having fun
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intelligent and curious ready to learn and grow in an exciting field
- Able to delivery professional results
- Ready to work in fast-paced, agile environments
- Driven, self-motivated, and highly responsible
- Located in American Fork, UT
Nice to Have :
Go programming language is a plus.
