Pay Range : $ 64.64 / hr - $87.27 / hr

For Nurse Practioner
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Nurse Practitioner (NP), under the direction of the Medical Director / Supervising Physician, is a Registered Nurse who possesses additional clinical and didactic education to function at an advanced level of nursing practice.
They will coordinate direct patient care and may act as a first assistant to the supervisor surgeon. The Nurse Practitioner will be clinically competent in physical diagnosis, psychosocial assessment, and acute management of vascular patient.
These include complex (multi-organ / system) patients in an intensive care setting as well as in medical / surgical settings throughout the hospital.
They need to provide education to patients, families, students, and nursing staff, assisting in both an inpatient and outpatient capacity.
The NP consistently demonstrates the core values of Enloe Medical Center and serves as a role model to other employees.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE :
Minimum :
- Recent experience in an acute care facility
- Completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program including First Assistant training (or may have a current CNOR certification)
Desired :
- Recent vascular clinical experience
- Bilingual in Spanish desirable
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited College or University
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS :
Minimum :
- Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner Furnisher with the California Board of Registered
- Meets Centers for MediCal and Medicaid Services (CMS) criteria to bill Medicare
- Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number or proof of application
- Current AHA-HCP CPR recognition
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six months of hire
- Credentialed through the Enloe Medical Staff office and Finance office
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) (or may have completed an approved NP program including First Assistant training)
Desired :
RNFA certification
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES :
Must have the confidence and experience to work independently with diverse patient populations and experience in accessing specialty referrals and community resources.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Must have the ability to lead, motivate, delegate, and analyze information and problem solve.
Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
For Physician Assistant
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Physician Assistant - Vascular (PA), under the direction of the Medical Director and the onsite Supervising Physician provides and coordinates direct patient care and may act as a first assistant to the supervising surgeon.
The PA provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative healthcare service, as delegated by a physician. They will be clinically competent in physical diagnosis, psychosocial assessment, and acute management of the Vascular patient.
They need to provide direct patient care and education to patients, families, students, and nursing staff, assisting both inpatient and outpatient needs.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE :
Desired :
- Recent Vascular Clinical experience
- One-year clinical experience as Physician Assistant in an acute care facility
- Bilingual in Spanish desirable
- Operative assisting experience
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS :
Minimum :
- Current California Physician Assistant License
- Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA), if not a graduate from an accredited ARC Physician Assistant educational program
- Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number or proof of application
- Current AHA-HCP CPR recognition
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire
- Credentialed through the Enloe Medical Staff and Finance Office
Desired :
Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA)
