Description

Position Overview : The Senior Manager, Product Marketing is responsible for all product marketing for all TimberTech outdoor living products including decking, railing, accessories and furniture.

Position responsibilities include building product launch timelines and driving product rationalization and / or new product information / content across all touchpoints.

Executes the commercialization of new products with focus on developing marketing literature and digital & social content to support downstream B2B and B2C marketing efforts that drive category growth.

Seeking Experience in Building Products and or Tools is a MUST have.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Planning : Lead the development and execution of product marketing strategies and initiatives to drive growth and market share for TimberTech products.
  • Market Analysis : Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify market trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
  • Product Positioning : Develop compelling value propositions, messaging, and positioning strategies that differentiate TimberTech products in the marketplace and resonate with target audiences.
  • Go-to-Market Planning : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated go-to-market plans for new product launches, including pricing strategies, distribution channel strategies, and promotional campaigns.
  • DIY Content Lead : Manage the development and execution of DIY focused content and ensure support across both traditional and digital channels.
  • Marketing Collateral : Oversee the development of marketing collateral, sales tools, and product documentation to support sales efforts and effectively communicate product benefits to customers.
  • Sales Enablement : Work closely with Sales teams to provide training, support, and tools to effectively communicate product value propositions and drive sales success.
  • Brand Management : Ensure consistency and alignment with brand guidelines across all product marketing materials and communications.
  • Performance Tracking : Establish key performance metrics and tracking mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management : Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Product Development, Sales, Marketing, and Executive Leadership, to drive alignment and support for product marketing initiatives.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the building materials, home improvement, or outdoor living industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies that drive business results.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies and plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for innovation.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
