CADD Designer / Technician - Autodesk Civil 3D
BGE, Inc. needs an CAD Designer / Technician- Autodesk Civil 3D with a Civil engineering background, located in our Central Texas Region.
Reside in any of our 3 offices in Central Tx Region : North Austin (Round Rock), South Austin (Directors Blvd), or San Antonio (San Pedro Ave).

Responsibilities :
- Use Autodesk Civil 3D to perform accurate drafting and annotation for plan, profile and detail sheets for public works, water resources, wastewater, stormwater, piping, pump stations, elevator pump stations, sewage lift stations, utilities, water, sewer, paving and drainage design and drafting plans.
- Complete redlines for modification of existing plans and notes or preparation of new details or design elements.
- Complete plan sets by compiling all plan, profile, note and detail sheets to present a comprehensive design.
Requirements :
- 5+ or more years of experience in civil engineering design and drafting.
- Demonstrated experience in Autodesk Civil 3D
- Technical Degree or Certification in Computer Automated Design and Drafting
- Demonstrated experience without technical degree or certification may be considered.
- Have a working knowledge of CAD standards, features and annotation styles, line styles, sheet set manager and drawing setup.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing multi-step tasks.
