We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Application Support Analyst in the Engineering industry, based in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.
As an Application Support Analyst, you will be instrumental in resolving application specific end-user support requests, assisting with the development of Power BI reports, and ensuring the adherence of our systems to organizational policies and procedures.
3 days a week onsite in BLUE BELL, PA
Responsibilities :
- Provide assistance in supporting our global systems through the Service Desk, including necessary end-user training.
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports to assist with business decision making.
- Handle vendor management and procurement tasks, including contract review and purchasing.
- Monitor automated reports and uphold organizational compliance with policies such as SOX and NIST.
- Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
- Review IT general controls for effectiveness and coordinate vendors for IT control risk assessments.
- Assist in maintaining privacy compliance, including GDPR and CCPA.
- Provide necessary documentation, data, and reports in support of audit requests.
- Oversee and enforce IT governance related to the corporate intranet.
- Carry out other IT administrative functions as assigned.
- Candidate must possess a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Application Support is required.
- Familiarity with Service Desk Tickets is necessary for managing and tracking issues.
- Knowledge and experience with Power BI for data analysis and visualization
- ITIL framework
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to deal with complex system issues
- Advanced level of experience working with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel (able to put formulas together, create pivot tables, etc.
Visio, Access, and Project.
