Job Description

The Assistant Superintendent - Multifamily Construction is responsible for :

  • Run / manage project from start to finish
  • Oversee full construction project on a daily bases
  • Coordinate to resolve any problems with materials or methods.
  • Establish and maintain an effective and professional on-site working relationship with Owners, Architects, Consulting Engineers and other parties related to the project.
  • Enforce a safe work environment, practices and culture on the project.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Superintendent - Multifamily Construction has the following skill set :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Construction-related course from a vocational or technical program
  • Construction management capabilities, with experience working with multiple trades in union and non-union environments.
  • Familiarity of the design / build process and ability to coordinate people and activities related to construction according to plan and design intent.
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future ( H1-B).
