A premier employment law firm is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal with PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) experience.

This role is crucial in managing PAGA cases from start to finish, supporting two attorneys, and ensuring seamless case flow and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Attorney Support : Provide comprehensive assistance to two attorneys, collaborating with the legal team.
  • Document Preparation : Draft and review legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
  • E-Filing and Calendaring : Handle e-filing in state and federal courts and manage court calendars.
  • Client Interaction : Maintain regular communication with clients for updates and information gathering.
  • Discovery Management : Oversee the discovery process, including drafting requests and organizing document productions.
  • Trial Support : Assist in trial preparation and provide support throughout the trial process.
  • Billing : Track billable hours with regular check-ins to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 3+ years of civil litigation experience with a focus on PAGA cases.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or equivalent attestation.

Salary & Benefits :

  • Competitive salary : $70,000-$85,000 DOE
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k); and more.
  • Full-time, onsite position with parking available.
  • Hours : 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM, 37.5-hour work week with a 1-hour lunch (30 minutes paid).
