Genesis Technical is seeking a Project Manager for a long term plant position in Toledo, OH .
If you are a degreed engineer who enjoys working on capital projects with at least 5 years' experience, we would love to share this excellent opportunity with you!
Hybrid schedule with a standard work week (M-F) however, may vary depending on site needs and projects.
PM Responsibilities :
- Manage and / or participate in capital projects.
- Ensure projects are clearly defined and accurately managed for on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Develop project scope, objectives, and timelines.
- Coordinate project activities and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial accountability.
- Oversee construction management activities.
- Ensure technical specifications are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Manage external engineering resources, as appropriate, per project. Optimize resource allocation to maximize project efficiency and effectiveness.
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Process, Chemical or I&E Engineering required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience manufacturing position in a chemical plant or refinery preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Projects).
- Effectively communicate using multiple forms of communication including virtual.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple / changing priorities.
