About the Role :
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team at Prohealth Advanced Imaging. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.
As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a critical role in the daily operations of our medical facility, and your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential to your success.
Minimum Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in a medical office or similar customer service role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications :
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience with insurance verification and billing
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience working in a multi-physician practice
Responsibilities :
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using our electronic medical records system
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
- Maintain patient records and ensure they are accurate and up-to-date
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
