Your Opportunity
Stantec's New York City office has an immediate need for an Office Engineer for the bridge inspection projects. The position will work out of our 5th Avenue office.
This position is for an individual looking to challenge themselves on a professional level on a variety of transportation projects and grow their bridge inspection experience.

Your Key Responsibilities
- You will work with qualified Inspection Team Members to coordinate all field activities including securing equipment rentals and Maintenance of Traffic Control (MPT) for access needs, obtaining various lane closure and / or railroad permits, assisting with miscellaneous inspection report preparation and final deliverables.
- You will be assisting the project team for meeting the demands of high-profile clients, including NYSDOT, Port Authority of NY & NJ, MTA Bridges and Tunnel Authority, and NYCDOT.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Having completed NHI Course No. 130055 "Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges", is preferred.
- Having prior bridge or tunnel inspection experience, is desired.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Available for flexible hours including nights and weekends.
- Valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation and Microsoft Office.
Education and Experience
At Minimum Associates Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field is required. Having a minimum of one-year prior bridge or tunnel inspection and / or design experience with understanding of timber, steel and concrete structures is preferred.

Salary Range(s) :
$67,200 - $94,000 Min / Max Pay Range(s) for postings located in NYC / NY
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
