This dynamic position is based at Buckley SFB in Aroura, CO. The engineer maintains operations of multi-user computer systems, networks, virtual computer systems, COTS software products, and performs system administration and network tasks within the scope of the contract.
Monitors and corrects system performance issues, system patching and operating system software. Deploys software / hardware deliveries, supports special projects, and assists operational crews and contractor teams to resolve system issues.
Meticulously records problem statements and creates appropriate reports.
Assists the test team with system integration and test. Assists the Information Assurance (IA) team with account management and system vulnerability management.
This is a day-staff position, but after-hours support may be required from time-to-time in support of 24 / 7 operations as required.
This is an EARLY-MID CAREER (level 3) ROLE where candidates require 5+ years of professional experience and a BS degree or above.
Selected candidate must have an active Secret security clearance prior to start.
