The Senior Technical Project Manager is responsible for executing strategic projects in the areas of enterprise data architecture, business intelligence, and reporting.

This role is highly collaborative and will manage the planning, coordination, documentation, execution, and delivery of technical projects.

They will work alongside project and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives, technical feasibility, and strategic goals.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to :

  • Collaborate with project leadership to understand project goals and devise detailed project plans and roadmaps that outline key milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Establish project infrastructure and governance mechanisms.
  • Maintain the project’s alignment with business objectives and adapt to accommodate shifting priorities and unforeseen challenges.
  • Lead day-to-day oversight of project, including organizing and tracking milestones, timelines, dependencies, budgets, and delays.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks and maintenance of overall project progress.
  • Facilitate project meetings and coordinate stakeholder communication, capturing action items and key takeaways, and ensuring follow-up items are completed.
  • Define project success criteria and key metrics for evaluating project performance.
  • Facilitate communication to leadership of regular status updates and other means of reporting progress to executive stakeholders.
  • Serve as strategic advisor to project sponsors, identify risks that threaten project success and provide recommendations as appropriate.
  • Develop a clear change management plan, including process and product documentation, to maximize end-user engagement.
  • Collaborate with IT and Internal Audit to ensure compliance with technology and risk management standards and best practices.
  • Coordinate testing to ensure the developed product fulfills technical and general business requirements.
  • Perform other special projects as assigned.

What you need to be successful :

  • A qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus 10 years of professional experience, of which at least 7 years in a technical project or program management capacity.
  • Exceptional knowledge of project lifecycle and planning principles; project management certification or similar is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Agile and / or other prominent project management methods and frameworks.
  • Experience managing technical projects related to enterprise data architecture, business intelligence, reporting, or other technical business applications.

Experience in real estate or finance / investment the industry is highly preferred.

  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior leadership.
  • Must be organized, detailed, flexible, efficient, take ownership of work product, and efficiently multi-task and manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
  • Must be technically inclined with an ability to quickly grasp new technologies.
  • Must be highly analytical, with an ability to understand complex project dynamics involving many variables, interdependencies, and other characteristics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and other applications.

The base salary for this role is in the range of $113,721 - $153,083. You may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and an annual discretionary stock award, (dependent on date of hire) to be discussed during the initial phone interview.

Base salary and total compensation package determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, education, skills, performance, and abilities, as well as internal equity, company performance, and alignment with market data.
