Parsons is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Support Manager for project controls support to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various project management activities, client relations, and business development efforts.
This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
What You’ll Be Doing -
Project Controls : Monitors weekly overhead charges and recommends corrective adjustments to control overhead in compliance with the business plan and sound business practices;
Oversees development and submission of client invoices and monitors client’s account receivables.
Project Management : supports the development and maintenance of the project schedule, key performance indicator(s) updates;
project monthly report updates
Client Management
- Collaborate with client managers to develop and maintain comprehensive Client Management Plans.
- Ensure alignment of client expectations with project deliverables and timelines.
- Assist in the creation and management of a comprehensive client pursuit list.
- Track potential opportunities and ensure follow-up actions are taken as needed.
Staffing Plans for Pursuits :
- Work closely with Business Development (BD) and Capture Managers to create staffing plans for key pursuits.
- Identify staffing needs for major projects
- Coordinate hiring processes based on pursuit requirements.
Weekly Report Management :
- Oversee the collection and consolidation of weekly report inputs from team members.
- Ensure timely submission of accurate reports reflecting project progress and status.
Support Regional Management with Documentation Library
- Organize SharePoint site by uploading presentations, pursuit information, organizational charts, etc.
- Maintain an up-to-date repository of essential documents for easy access by team members.
Staff Skills & Assignment Tracking :
- Manage staff assignment database across geographic areas.
- Track employee skills, current projects they are working on, and availability for future assignments
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management or related field preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- 12 years or more relevant experience is preferred.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring :
- Proven experience in project support or management roles within engineering or construction industries is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of project management practices and procedures.
- Thorough knowledge of project-related software and the ability to train others in its use.

Salary Range :
