Job Description
The Associate Foodservice Marketing Manager reports to the Manager, Foodservice Marketing and is responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive customer engagement, and support sales growth for the foodservice business unit in North America.
This role collaborates with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and operations to create and implement marketing campaigns, manage promotional activities, and gain functional foodservice industry knowledge.
TASKS, DUTIES, & GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Event Planning & Execution
- Responsible for planning and executing foodservice trade and experiential events including managing paperwork, inventory, logistics, vendors and developing creative assets.
- Support on-site event execution, including booth setup, staffing coordination, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the event.
- Manage the development, procurement and inventory of field infrastructure and materials.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments and external parties including key foodservice partners and vendors.
Brand / Creative Development
- Assist with the development of sell-in materials and toolkits for the cross-functional marketing team, sales organization, and distributor partners, working with key stakeholders such as Sales, Legal, and PR.
- Ensure Beyond branding (e.g. logo, brand names, etc) is strategically integrated into partner’s marketing and messaging.
Ensure alignment between both internal and external stakeholders and Beyond brand standards.
Work closely with the Manager, Foodservice Marketing, and Sales counterparts to establish and implement successful marketing programs, campaigns and materials to profitably increase market share for Beyond Meat.
Business Analytics & Insights
- Utilizes consumer and customer data to identify business insights and strategic solutions to support business growth with mid-level guidance and direction.
- Provides relevant reports, gathers key competitive intelligence, develops insights, and reports findings to team through thoughtful analysis and visionary overview.
- Exhibits a deep understanding of the target audience (B2B or B2C) and consistently utilizes an audience-lens and relevant insights to make recommendations.
Project Management
- Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and alignment with overall marketing strategy.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are of high quality.
Budget Management
- Assist in the management of the Foodservice Marketing budget, ensuring all activities are cost-effective and within budget.
- Track expenditures and prepare financial reports for review by the Manager, Foodservice Marketing.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Technical Skills, and / or Previous Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in : Marketing, Event Management, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing or trade event management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to travel as needed for trade shows and events.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected challenges.
- Experience with B2B marketing and / or experience in the foodservice industry preferred.
- Proficient skills using MS Office suite (particularly Sheets / Excel, Docs / Word, Slides / PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), Project Management Software (e.
g., SmartSheet or comparable applications).
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work location : Onsite (4+ days per week) at HQ office in El Segundo, CA.
- Communication using Phone and Computer.
- Potential for travel (approximately 10%-15%) depending on seasonality.
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs.
Annual salary commensurate with experience
The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $75,000 and $95,000. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as : training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for bonus and benefits.
