What You Will Do :
Responsible for researching and applying knowledge of existing and emerging data science principles, theories, and techniques to inform business decisions for clients.
Conducts economic modeling, statistical analysis, market surveys. Develops tools, techniques, and theories to facilitate ongoing research activities for the client.
Uses predictive and prescriptive analytics tools to forecast what may happen, using probabilities and current confidence levels.
Responsibilities may include :
- Collaborate across the Federal Civilian and SLG sector with practitioners across Guidehouse to enable growth and delivery of analytics
- Lead complex analytics engagements across multiple clients in the Federal Civilian and State and Local Government (SLG) sector
- Oversee the development of analytics proof of concepts
- Lead and support business development initiatives across the business, to include capture, development of proposal content, and meeting with prospective buyers
- Serve as a coach and advisor to analytics practitioners ranging from Consultants to Associate Directors
What You Will Need :
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of current work experience in managing technical / solutions teams and delivering complex analytics engagements.
Total previous work experience MUST include the following :
- 8+ years of experience leading and / or supporting data and analytics business development through capture to proposal submission
- 8+ years of experience and a proven track record in shaping, selling, and delivering work in data and analytics
- 6+ years of hands-on development experience applying analytics techniques using either R or Python, and development of visualizations / dashboards using PowerBI or Tableau
- 5+ years of experience delivering analytics engagements for Federal or State & Local Government (SLG) clients.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across various data domains (e.g., human capital, finance, procurement, budget)
- Must be local to the DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia area
What Would Be Nice To Have :
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET federal security clearance
- Management consulting experience within Federal or State & Local Government (SLG)
- Master's degree
