Primary Responsibilities :
- Inspect and clean all luggage storage bays, overhead passenger storage areas, windows, and floors
- Empty trash receptacles and trash from interior of vehicle
- Brush and vacuum as needed
- Sanitize floors and fixtures
- Clean exterior of vehicle
- Fuels buses as needed
- Understand OSHA safety rules and promotes a safe work environment
- Ability to move and park different types of buses
Minimum Requirements :
- Stamina to work a physical job that requires hard and detailed work in a fast paced environment.
- Valid CT driver’s license.
- 18+ years old.
- Must be able to pass an in-yard driving test of all vehicles.
- Must be able to maneuver large vehicles including double decker’s around facility.
- Operate fuel pump.
- Pass a Human Performance Examination (HPE), physical exam, background investigation and drug test prior to hire.
- May require overtime.
- ATTENTION : This is a safety sensitive position as determined by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and requires inclusion in a random drug testing pool which determines the usage of prohibited substances, including recreational marijuana.
