Operations Supervisor-Direct Hire
Must be local to Oak Creek, Wisconsin.
Salary : $80-$90K
Shifts Available - 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Comfortable going to Canada or additional training.
Reports to : Operations Manager
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a high-speed food production plant, including managing a team of 58-62 associates and overseeing key support departments such as Quality Assurance, Warehousing, Sanitation, and Maintenance.
This role ensures operational efficiency through the enforcement of Toyota Lean Manufacturing principles and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
A strong focus on employee engagement and strict adherence to health, safety, and food safety standards is essential to maintaining high operational and quality benchmarks.
3-4 years of experience in Manufacturing and Supervising.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications
- Strong proficiency in mathematical concepts and applications
- Proficiency in English both in written and oral communication
- Understanding of cost containment and budgetary principles
Considered a Plus :
Bilingual English & Spanish a plus.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements :
- Must be willing / able to perform duties and responsibilities in a food manufacturing environment, adhering to all required food safety protocols.
- Safely work independently and around others by following all required site procedures.
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours when required
- Ability to walk up and down stairs
- Ability to work in a normal bakery atmosphere and the situations it may expose such as loud noises, strong smells, and dust / flour.
- Able to hear; must be alerted to sounds of machinery malfunctions; hear alarms and emergency announcements.
- Regularly lift and / or move up to 10lbs, frequently lift and / or move up to 25lbs, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50lbs
