LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a Commercial Construction Company in Phoenix, AZ that is looking to add a Bilingual (Spanish) Safety Coordinator to the team.
The ideal candidate will be Bilingual (Spanish) with Construction experience as a safety coordinator or manager. This is an on-site / can travel position, Monday through Friday, full-time.
Salary range $70,000 to $80,000 depending on prior experience.

Job Purpose :
The Safety Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day risk and safety tasks to proactively address safety exposures. This role collaborates with the management team and the Chief People Officer of Risk Management to provide trends, high-level feedback, and services to internal staff.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
Implement and maintain a proactive, positive safety culture through day-to-day safety input.
Monitor job site activity, conduct safety reviews, and provide onsite feedback.
Report safety findings into trending reports.
Create and deliver a safety training schedule based on company needs.
Develop and conduct specialty training sessions as needed or required.
Deliver weekly toolbox topics.
Ensure job site orientation is conducted for new employees.
Assist with any job site-specific safety or risk issues as identified.
Manage employee files.
Coordinate random drug testing.
Conduct accident investigations.
Monitor driver hours of service.
Document and maintain CDL driver files and compliance.
Report any and all claims needs to the President and Director.
Provide strategic support and personnel coaching as needed.
Identify training requirements for core functional roles and team members, develop or procure curriculum for each role, and deliver training or facilitate outsourced solutions for proper certifications and skills.
Effectively present to individuals and groups, lead the implementation of programs and procedures.
Assist in managing claims
Ensure all employees comply with safety regulations, including but not limited to the employee handbook, best practices, and crisis management.
Lead change management and promote a positive safety culture.
Conduct all business in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Support and abide by the values of the company.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience / Education Requirements :
OSHA 500 or 510 with STSC certification preferred or the ability to achieve.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP), ASP, or Construction Health and Safety Technician.
Acceptable driving record.
Must be bilingual in Spanish.
Construction and commercial experience is required.
3+ years' Safety coordinator experience
