Job Details

Responsibilities :

  • Develop, implement, and manage the sanitation program for the manufacturing facility to ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all sanitation equipment, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
  • Train and supervise sanitation staff, fostering a culture of safety, cleanliness, and excellence.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to address any sanitation-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain sanitation SOPs, training materials, and other related documentation.
  • Continually assess and improve the sanitation program, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Respond to and manage any sanitation emergencies that may arise, ensuring the safety of all employees and the integrity of our products.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and auditors as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sanitation management role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of sanitation equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of sanitation standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of training and developing staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Certification in Sanitation Management or a related field is a plus.
